Align Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a means of stimulating your body's capacity to heal. Hair thin needles are placed in locations that can help your body overcome the stresses it may currently be having difficulty healing. Acupuncture uses your body's own natural healing mechanisms, so there is no need to worry about side effects or risks of complications from treatment.

Chinese Herbalism is a detailed and comprehensive system of utilizing medicinal plants that can gently, but powerfully nourish and stimulate specific functions in the body. These substances can impact a wide array of health concerns, and preserve good health without the complication of side effects that can often accompany pharmaceuticals. The human body has evolved to run on nutrients obtained from food.

Periods of increased stress and illness can increase the body's need for specific nutrients in order to optimally heal. An improved diet and targeted nutrition can help you overcome many obstacles to your health so that you can better meet your goals and feel your best every day!

Phil Stamos is a 2008 Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and acupuncturist with more than a decade of service experience in the greater Milwaukee area.
During his 10 years in practice Phil has enthusiastically sought out the profession's best ideas and brightest teachers in the areas of acupuncture orthopedics, sports medicine, sports neurology, medical acupuncture, advanced Pulse Diagnostics, and Chinese Herbalism.
He has completed advanced trainings in both Eastern and Western approaches to musculoskeletal anatomy, and treatment methods including trigger point therapy, and advanced electro-acupuncture techniques.
Acupuncture is a time-tested technique of stimulating and directing the body's innate capacity to heal itself.
The hair-fine needles are strategically placed at points on the body to help it better adapt to the stresses that cause the body to experience pain and functional deficits that can affect our health.
By stimulating the release of natural pain relieving and anti-inflammatory substances produced by our bodies, and gradually retraining and resetting the brain's ability to optimally regulate the body's functions, acupuncture can help to both overcome immediate symptoms in the short term, and help to preserve good healthy function over time.
Acupuncture needles are incredibly thin, and generally produce a minimal amount of discomfort upon insertion.
Most people report a momentary "bug bite" sensation that quickly fades into a dull, heavy, or tingling sensation at the needle site.
Most needle insertions are extremely shallow, entering the skin only fractions of an inch.
We use only pre-sterilized, single-use disposal stainless steel needles.
There are no chemical, analgesic, or medicinal substances on the needles at all - the simple presence of the needle itself is enough to stimulate the body's natural response and trigger its innate healing mechanisms.
Phil goes above and beyond.
As a healthcare provider, this is what I respect most about his practice.
We have co-managed and worked together through several mutual patient's cases, and there is no other acupuncturist I would recommend over Phil.
Keep up the good work and thank you for what you do.
Thank you Phil for making my first time with acupuncture a success.
I just had my 2nd treatment with Phil this morning and I'm already feeling so much better.
Thank you so much!
I really love Phil's work!
Many people are often surprised to find out that their insurance plan covers acupuncture services.
Please bring your insurance information with you to your first appointment and I will verify your coverage to determine if that is an option.
I currently am contracted as an in-network provider for United Healthcare, UMR, Dean Health, Anthem BC/BS, and Cigna.
Additionally, I contract with the Veterans Association and TriWest in order to provide service for Veterans of our Armed Services.
