Dr. Allen was born in Anaheim, California but was raised in Holstein, Iowa. He was fortunate to find out what Chiropractic can do at a young age. He attended the University of South Dakota, receiving a Bachelor's of Science Degree with a double major in Psychology and Pre-Chiropractic. During his time there he was a member of the Men's Golf Team. He furthered his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic degree in 2010.
Since then, he has been serving patients in the Greater Des Moines area. Dr. Allen has extensive training in modern acupuncture and many chiropractic and physiotherapy techniques. He specializes in the "specific prone" technique. He also uses his foundational training in Gonstead, Diversified, Extremities, Sports Medicine, Activator & Zone Technique.
Dr. Allen is a recurrent speaker at local and national chiropractic conferences. He is a member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society, the Acupuncture Society of America and the Zone School of Healing.
