A. We use individually packed, sterile and disposable needles.
The needles are very thin, not much thicker than a hair (about 0.18 mm in diameter).
The needles are inserted a fraction of an inch into the specific areas on the skin, which are called Acupoints.
You won't feel pain or might not feel anything when the needle is going in.

The first visit lasts longer than subsequent ones; the practitioner takes an initial physical examination and notes the extensive medical history for every patient.
Then, the practitioner puts all of this information together to make a diagnosis, identifying which pattern of disharmony is involved, and advises you on the course of treatment.
