He received his Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) degree from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay where he majored in Human Biology with an emphasis in Nutritional Sciences.
He has also studied at the Guangzhou International Training Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Guangdong province, China.
