Her life calling: Helping people heal naturally. Mary has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University and graduated with honors from Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture earning a Master of Science degree. My therapies and services include acupuncture, cupping, guasha, auricular ear, nutritional counseling and review of household and personal care products.

I am committed to helping you create the best environment for you and your family. I use a holistic approach to healing with professional and compassionate care. Mary has been a lifesaver. After years of pain and not being able to get anywhere with doctors, I started acupuncture treatments with Mary. I don't know what I would do without her! The pain is gone and I've gotten my life back again.

I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Mary is an amazing healer. She's helped me with recovery after a car accident and after major strain to my muscles! She's compassionate and extremely well versed in acupuncture and other forms and modalities of healing.

Optimal living is feeling our best.
There are many factors that contribute to living a balanced lifestyle and feeling our best.
I work with each patient and gently make suggestions on changes you can make in order to achieve maximum results with your health.
I spend time educating about nutrition, personal care and household products, mindfulness, exercise, self-care and purpose.
The vision repair program is 12 treatments a week for two weeks.
You receive 3 treatments a day with a small break between treatments Tuesday through Friday.
I do an eye test before and after.
For maintenance, there is a general guideline to return two to three times during the first year and once or twice a year there after, depending on your condition.
In Chinese Medicine, we look at macular degeneration not as a disease but as a circulatory disorder.
The environment behind the eye is unhealthy because of ocular waste called drusen.
Acupuncture is a method in which very fine needles are used to stimulate the body's natural healing.
After careful assessment the acupuncturist can identify energy patterns that are disrupted and insert needles into specific anatomically defined locations to help restore the energy patterns to their optimal state.
As such, the acupuncturist is using needles to assist the body's own self healing response.
Some conditions may call for additional electrical stimulation to enhance the effects of the needles.
