Sunrise Internal Medicine, PC is a primary care clinic with unique qualities. It was established by Dr. Frederic Luo with the goal of healing patients through careful listening and holistic treatment techniques. After completing his master's degree from Stanford University, Dr. Luo went to medical school at University of Wisconsin. The son of two physicians, a general surgeon and an internist, Dr. Luo was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
After he finished medical school, Dr. Luo trained in one of the top internal medicine residency programs in the country - Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. Rush Presbyterian has been ranked the most prestigious medical facility in the USA by AARP magazine. Dr. Luo has been in practice for about 20 years, specializing in the diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases in adult patients.
As an internist, Dr. Luo uses more than just traditional medical techniques. As destiny would have it, while Dr. Luo's parents were both Chinese physicians, they practiced and taught traditional Chinese medicine techniques, including the use of herbs and acupuncture.
