At Moab Acupuncture Clinic, I bring a holistic approach to treating each individual by examining all aspects of a patient's health and lifestyle, and then striving to identify and understand the root cause of their illness. I draw from a variety of acupuncture styles and other back pain treatment methodologies that best suit each individual's needs to promote the greatest healing benefits.

Some of these methods include Classical Five Element and Japanese acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques in conjuction with kinesiology, chinese herbal medicine, and even bodywork and QiGong exercises when needed. My goal is to address contemporary ailments that inflict modern families in a holistic way, not just treating symptoms, but bringing about a more complete state of wellness in body, mind and spirit.

Acupuncture is one of the oldest healing modalities known to humankind.
It is an alternative medicine methodology originating in ancient China over five thousand years ago that treats patients by manipulating thin, solid needles that have been inserted into acupuncture points in the skin.
According to traditional Chinese philosophy, our health is dependent on the body's motivating energy - known as Qi - moving in a smooth and balanced way through a series of meridians (channels) beneath the skin.
Chi Nei Tsang literally means "working the energy of the internal organs" is a holistic approach to the "healing touch" modality of old Taoist Chinese origin.
It integrates the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our being.
CNT goes to the very origin of health problems, including psychosomatic responses.
Cupping is a method of applying acupressure by creating a vacuum on the patient's skin to dispel stagnation- stagnant blood and lymph, thereby improving Qi flow- to treat respiratory diseases such as the common cold pneumonia and bronchitis.
The practitioner will assess the state of your health by listening to your wrist pulses.
Your treatment will typically consist of using acupuncture needles and/or the burning of moxa (a Chinese medicinal herb).
In some cases, you will be given an individualized prescription of Chinese Herbs, dietary recommendations, or Qigong exercises as needed.
The first appointment is typically a two-hour consultation.
During this visit we will speak at length about your specific health concerns and address any questions you may have about acupuncture and the healing process.
After being diagnosed with prostate cancer, I went to the Moab Acupuncture Clinic for treatment.
While there I was also treated for high blood pressure, as well as the prostate cancer, and received some good, well researched advice regarding diet and dietary supplements to help treat my conditions.
Since my time at M.A.C. my blood pressure has come down and I have had two biopsies with no trace of cancer.
I first began acupuncture when I hurt my knee.
It worked brilliantly and I have been a devoted believer ever since.
