The body knows how to heal itself naturally, but can become unbalanced from physical trauma, intense emotions, diet or stress. Acupuncture encourages the body back into its own natural balance. Often treatment for one problem results in other ailments disappearing naturally at the same time. Let's work together to restore harmony in your body through acupuncture.

When I was 42, I lost all my hair, including my eyebrows, eyelashes and all over my body.
Western medicine calls it alopecia universalis and I was prescribed massive steroids.
I knew intuitively it was not the answer to my condition so a friend suggested I try acupuncture.
While acupuncture didn't cure me either, my stress level decreased, some of my hair began to grow and my mood greatly improved and led me to change my career.
The gift of this trauma is greater sensitivity and empathy for my patients experiencing health crises.
Acupuncture is a technique in which practitioners stimulate specific points on the body-most often by inserting thin needles through the skin.
It stimulates the release of the body's natural painkillers and affects areas in the brain involved in processing pain.
Results from a number of studies conclude that acupuncture may help ease chronic, low-back pain, neck pain, osteoarthritis/knee pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Other studies show reduction of the frequency of tension headaches and prevention of migraine headaches.
