Hong Qi has been practicing acupuncture in the State of Connecticut since 2002, combining knowledge of both Chinese and Western medicine.
She is a certified acupuncturist with more than a decade of clinical experience in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
Hong Qi earned a Doctor of Medicine Degree in China and practiced Neurology at the teaching hospital of Dalian Medical College for seven years prior to coming to the United States in 1990.
She was a postdoctoral fellow at Florida University for three years, and was later recruited by Pfizer to conduct research in Osteoporosis.
The World Health Organization and the National Institute of Health endorse acupuncture as being an effective treatment for numerous conditions.
