The Acupuncture and Herbology Clinic was originally established in 2002 by Kevin R. Pett Phd., in an effort to provide natural healing alternatives based on the extensive clinical and empirical use of Asian medicine. Kevin believes in a patient centered approach to healing and treatment where the root causes of illness are determined and treated. Through the use of Acupuncture and natural botanical Asian plant medicines both the cause of the condition and the resultant symptoms are properly addressed.
In this manner an effective resolution to the illness is accomplished. The clinic is located at Bigfoot Wellness www.bigfoot-wellness.com in Sisters Oregon, located at 392 East Main Ave., Sisters Oregon 97759. Phone consultations are also available if you are unable to be seen at the clinic in Sisters. Dr. Kevin continues to support patients in many geographic areas.
Kevin began his study of Chinese Medicine at the Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii and continued his study at the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe New Mexico where he received his Doctorate in Oriental Medicine in 2002 (DOM).

The earth has over 250,000 varieties of living botanical plants, herbs, fungi, trees and flowers.
Of these 250,000, approximately only 1 percent has yielded substances that create an astonishing 25 percent of the prescriptions dispensed by pharmacies in the United States.
Another 13 percent comes from microorganisms and 3 percent more from animals, for a total of over 40 percent that are natural organism-derived.
As noted Harvard biologist E.O.
Wilson states: We better listen up, few are aware of how much we already depend on wild organisms for medicine.
