Acupuncture has been shown to be a highly effective method for reducing the pain, nausea and other symptoms. It can help to relax the muscles, as well as treat the underlying stress that often accompanies overworked muscles.
One of the great benefits of acupuncture is that it can be used on its own or in conjunction with western methods of treatment/management. A complimentary approach is often the best choice for optimizing pain control as well as addressing many other conditions. According to the American Sleep Association (ASA), approximately 50-70 million Americans suffer from some type of sleep disorder.
The ASA reports that insomnia is the most common specific sleep disorder, with short term issues reported by about 30% of adults and chronic insomnia by 10%.
