Services
Acupuncture has been used around the world for thousands of years to help establish balance in the body which promotes health.
It is a complete medical protocol focused on correcting imbalances of energy in the body.
It is used to alleviate pain and to treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
Acupuncture therapy uses sterile, disposable, micro-thin needles that are gently inserted into selected acupuncture points on the body.
These points are grouped along defined pathways called meridians that run throughout the body.
This treatment is designed to treat chronic and acute soft tissue pain, scars and adhesions.
This works by applying concentrated microcurrent impulses to trigger motor and acupuncture points, thus providing quick and effective pain relief for a long list of medical conditions.
MPS Therapy integrates the principles of acupuncture with modern neurology to provide an all natural, holistic approach to treating the body and mind.
It hastens the healing process by gathering the body's ATP into injured tissue.
Shoni Shin is directly translated as "Children's needle" and was developed in Japan in the mid-1700s in the Osaka region and remains popular today.
It is a specialized form of very light acupuncture for children that includes tapping, pressing and massage of the skin along the meridians.
Since children are typically more sensitive and respond quicker to conventional acupuncture than adults, treatments are often shorter in duration and very gentle.
Massage therapy is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body and consists of manual techniques that include applying fixed or movable pressure.
Generally, massage is known to affect the circulation of blood and the flow of lymph.
It reduces muscular tension and affects the nervous system through stimulation or sedation.
Massage therapy also has a number of documented clinical benefits.
For example, massage can reduce anxiety, improve pulmonary function in young asthma patients, reduce psycho-emotional distress in persons suffering from chronic inflammatory bowel disease, and may enhance immune system functioning.
