Traci is a California State Board Licensed Acupuncturist, and holds a Masters of Science degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. She has also received advanced postgraduate training in gynecology, pregnancy and pediatric acupuncture.

As a mother, doula and placenta encapsulation specialist, she has witnessed and experienced the power of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in pregnancy, birth and postpartum, and is thrilled to share this approach to wellness with others.She is a founding member of Bay Area Family Wellness, a collective of health care practitioners dedicated to supporting families during the childbearing year.

Traci is in network with Blue Shield Health Insurance. Traci provides acupuncture, herbal medicine and placenta encapsulation, making wellness more accessible to her clients. Acupuncture can treat headaches, fertility, morning sickness, insomnia, fatigue, mastitis, and pain. It can also help to maintain proper position of the fetus, encourage healthy lactation, support a healthy pregnancy, encourage the onset of labor, and improve the success of an IVF embryo transfer.

Acupuncture and placenta encapsulation can support healing, milk supply, baby blues and fatigue.
For children, acupuncture can treat the common cold, ear infections, bedwetting, night terrors.
Please be sure to eat a snack before your treatment.
You should be neither hungry nor full.

I encourage all of my patients to receive "prebirth" treatments, once a week, starting at 37 weeks, to prepare your body and your baby for birth.
Once in labor, a variety of Traditional Chinese Medicine healing modalities can encourage regular contractions, support meditation and relaxation and alleviate pain and anxiety.
For children, acupuncture can treat the common cold, ear infections, bedwetting, night terrors, asthma, skin rashes/eczema, ADHD/Autism, constipation, irritability/colic, "failure to thrive" or slow weight gain, immune health and much more.
We can work together, using nutritional counseling, lifestyle changes, herbal medicine, Chinese massage and acupuncture to support healthy kids.
Needles are typically thinner than those used for adults and are not retained in the body.
Usually needles are not used during the first treatment unless the child is ready.
