Qi (vital energy) flows through the body along a network of paths called meridians. Qi is said to affect a person's spiritual, emotional, mental and physical condition. When a person is not in balance, Qi can become blocked. Blocked Qi causes pain, illness and other health problems. Traditional Chinese Medicine uses acupuncture, diet, herbal therapy, meditation, physical exercise, and massage to restore health by unblocking Qi and correcting the balance of yin and yang within the person.
Studies in China and Europe have found acupuncture points have a dramatic effect on regulating brain neurotransmitters. Since acupuncture can balance brain chemistry, it is no wonder why Acupuncture can have a powerful effect on the body and mind! Acupuncture comes from a rich history of ancient wisdom; philosophical and clinical insights that are valuable and relevant today.
We are able to bring the body into a state of balance and openness. The road to healing is in us, and tapping into our own abundance is the first step.

Joann is a caring and attentive acupuncturist.
She was recommended to me by a friend after I injured my arm and physical therapy wasn't working.
After seeing Joann, I felt noticeable difference in my arm.
She was also able to improve my sleep problems.
This was my first experience at acupuncture and Joann readily put my fears and anxieties to rest.
Her detailed and caring intake procedure was helpful in diagnosing my problem areas and once the treatment started, I was relaxed and completely at ease.
