Lori Edwards founded Lotus Acupuncture in 2004, graduating from South Baylo University with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
She is licensed with the SC Board of Medical Examiners as well as the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Lori discovered acupuncture while exploring healing alternatives for MS.
In her search, she experienced and studied many alternative medicine modalities including Emotional Freedom Technique, Touch for Health, Qi Gong, Aromatherapy, and is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.
Acupuncture is one of the most popular natural healthcare options available.
Both modern research and ancient history give acupuncture an impressive record for safety and effectiveness.
But, some people just don't like needles.
One of the best options because it is fast, effective, and completely painless.
Laser acupuncture uses low-power laser light at specific wavelengths to stimulate acupuncture points and bring about effects similar to traditional needle acupuncture, but, without the pain or fear of needles.
Gathering this information is important to see where the root of the problem lies and where there may be a disruption in the flow of Qi.
Once these imbalances are detected, your acupuncturist will formulate a treatment plan designed just for you.
This is not one size fits all medicine.
Your acupuncturist will then place thin, sterile needles along the meridian pathways.
This will open up the flow of Qi, increasing circulation, restoring balance, diminishing pain, bringing a sense of calm.
