Services
I want to introduce you to my colleague, Xin Xia, Licensed Acupuncturist.
She is very familiar with the Balance Method of my favorite mentor, Dr.
Richard Tan. Xin is certified in Sport Medicine Acupuncture and has studied auricular acupuncture with my other mentor, Rafael Nogier.
Her husband, Yong Tao is an herbalist with 40+ years of family heritage in Chinese Medicine, martial arts and other ancient Chinese healing arts.
Together they are ready to take care of you and carry on the tradition of outstanding patient care here at the clinic.
The Healing Point Acupuncture Clinic, located in Los Altos CA, offers acupuncture treatments in a quiet and tranquil setting.
Our clinic offers non-surgical pain relief for both chronic and acute conditions.
Acupuncture works to ease pain safely and can reduce, or avoid the need for pain medications.
Acupuncture also helps to ease pain and facilitate faster recovery from surgery.
Acupuncture treatments to enhance physical performance can provide a competitive edge for athletes.
Acupuncture is also a viable therapy for many sports injuries including sprains and strains.
My name is Pat, I'm 75 years old and have severe scoliosis, which is a sideways curvature of the spine.
In 2017, I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my lower back that made my right knee completely numb.
I also have arthritis.
Due to my health issues, surgeons told me that back surgery was out.
I tried everything: modern medicines, cortisone shots, and a lot of physical therapy.
I also did pilates which helped, and saw other acupuncturists which kept me stable, but I still had pain.
Then starting late fall 2019, I began seeing Xin Xia at Healing Point Acupuncture Clinic once a week for acupuncture.
Our goal is to dramatically improve the quality of life for people who suffer from chronic and acute pain so they can get back to doing the things they love.
We use acupuncture as part of an integrative approach to ease pain safely and reduce the need for surgery or use of medications.
Acupuncture can quickly and effectively address trauma to any part of the body by needling points far from the pain site.
It can reduce pain and swelling to improve the blood flow to the injured area, repair the damage, and promote faster healing, and reduce the need for medication.
Weekend warriors and professional athletes hone their skills and techniques to become stronger, faster, and agile.
Injury may occur when we push beyond our limits and over time create problems now, and in the future.
We often don't allow adequate time to heal.
Painkillers and anti-inflammatory medication dull the aches and pains and reduce inflammation, however, it's only a temporary fix.
Covering up aches, pain, stiffness, or swelling with medications may be masking a deeper problem.
Pain sends warning signals our body that something is weakened and out of balance; telling us to stop, rest, and heal.
