Services
At Eastern Wellness Acupuncture, we use the traditional Chinese method to come up with an individual treatment plan and help the body return to a healthy state by moving the energy and blood that is stuck, nourishing whatever is weak and sedating whatever is overpowering.
Jana Fine L.Ac., MSTOM, is a national board-certified practitioner in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
She brings years of extensive, in-depth study of the Chinese medicinal arts, combined with practical knowledge, and countless hours of practice to improve quality of life for all her patients.
Treatments involve the insertion of hair-thin, sterile, single use needles into specific locations of the body.
Acupuncture points are selected based on your symptoms and may be local to the affected area as well as in other areas of the body.
Acupuncture always aims to address the condition requiring treatment while also addressing any underlying conditions your acupuncturist may diagnose.
Needles are retained usually for 20- 30 minutes depending on your condition.
Acupuncture helps the body to return to a balanced state.
When you come for your initial appointment, you will be asked series of questions about your complaint as well as overall health, health history, Western medicine diagnoses you are treated for and current medications.
Your acupuncturist may look at your tongue and feel your pulse to gather additional information.
Treatments consist of inserting hair-like sterile, single use needles into specific points.
Acupuncture points are selected based on your symptoms and may be local to the problematic area as well as distal to it.
