In Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) Qi, which is the equivalent of energy, is the vital force that makes our blood and body fluids flow smoothly. Blood and body fluids flow through the body via Channels & Collaterals just like stems and branches on a tree. Blood and Qi go hand in hand and one cannot travel without the other. An imbalance in Qi leads to blood stagnation and many health problems.

Years ago, when we decided to have a family we were unsuccessful at first.
I visited a gynecologist and went through the tests needed but they found nothing wrong.
We went to different gynecologists, did various painful tests, procedures, took various medications but to no avail.
This saga went on for six years.
Being physically and emotionally drained and unable to go through it anymore, we finally gave up.
This got me interested in learning acupuncture.
Encouraged by my acupuncturist and coworker, I enrolled myself at the American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and earned a Master's degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.
