Acupuncture is the method of using acupuncture needles, or other means, to stimulate certain points (acupoints) along the body to restore the balance and flow of energy (Qi) in the body.
This allows the body to repair itself and maintain its own health.
Pain is treated most effectively with acupuncture, but many other ailments are also treated.
