Services
Although it draws on ancient wisdom and practice it has become integrated with western medical approaches and subject to rigorous standards of modern research.
Studies have shown that acupuncture stimulates the body's own immune response, produces endorphins, activates key brain regulatory centers and neurotransmitters, improves circulation, reduces inflammation, balances hormones and unblocks stuck energy.
What we have observed through centuries of clinical practice is that acupuncture bolsters the body's own innate healing capacities.
Zoe received her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA) and is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in Massachusetts.
She is also a nationally certified Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
She has four years experience working as an assistant with Kiiko Matsumoto, a world-renowned Japanese acupuncturist.
She founded a program providing acupuncture, bodywork, Tai Chi and Qi Gong to the Uphams Corner Elderly Services Program, an integrative PACE program for low-income, high-needs elderly patients in Boston.

Leave time to complete paperwork prior to your first visit and time to relax and settle in before and after treatment.
During your first visit we'll go through your health history in detail in order to get the whole picture.
In addition to symptoms and any recent or chronic conditions, we'll also ask about your lifestyle, diet, emotional health, injuries, allergies, and hormones.
We use a range of diagnostic tools to make an informed assessment of your health, including taking your pulse, looking at your tongue, palpating your abdomen or any areas of discomfort, and possible orthopedic testing.
