We specialize in pain management using Dr. Richard Teh-Fu Tan Balance Method of Acupuncture. The Balance Method requires minimum number of needles on the area where the pain or disease is located, and distal points below the knees and elbows are used mostly.

Services
Your first appointment will be 60 - 75 minutes.
During the first treatment, the acupuncturist will do an initial evaluation - asking detail questions regarding your main health concern and overall general health questions.
Your Acupuncture treatment will start immediately after the initial evaluation is completed.
Follow-up visits will be 45 minutes to an hour.
Otherwise, plan to arrive 15 minutes early in order to fill out paperwork.
Please bring your drivers license and insurance card to your first treatment, we need to copy them for our records.

Acupuncture works on a momentum, each treatment builds on the previous one.
One or two acupuncture treatments will not be enough to relieve your pain.
The majority of patients generally feel pain reduction and relief within the first few treatments.
We recommend a minimum of six acupuncture treatments - two treatments per week.
If your pain has existed for several years, it will require time and commitment to relieve your pain.
Acupuncture is not an instant quick fix.

Depending upon how late you arrive, we will determine if there is enough time remaining to start your Acupuncture treatment.
