Dr. Gretel Garcia is a Board Certified Doctor of Oriental Medicine and founder of Gretel Acupuncture since 2013 and has been in the health industry since 2010. She received a Masters' degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami, FL. She is certified with the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
My mission is to serve our South Florida community with a holistic approach to medicine that takes into account the psychological, environmental and personal physical condition of each of my patients. It is commonly used for pain relief, though it is also used for a wide range of conditions as physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Chinese herbs have been used for centuries.
Each herbal medicine perscription is a cocktail of many substances, usually tailored to the individual patient. A tobacco like stick that is used to warm regions and acupuncture meridians with the intention of stimulating circulation through the points and inducing a smoother flow of blood and energy.

Her grandfather Juan Falcon was a renowned scientist in Cuba who patented natural medicines for the cure of cancer.
Since childhood, Dr. Gretel saw in her family a great love for humanity.
At the age of 21 she went to study in Germany, and later moved to Spain where she lived and worked for 6 years.
During her time in Spain, she gave birth to her greatest accomplishment, her son Alejandro.
With Alejandro, barely 4 months old, they emigrated to the United States with the help of his grandparents, they were able to stay with and make a new life.
